In 2025, two passionate organisations Project YANA and Juvenis came together to make a lasting impact on a vibrant school community in Tema Ghana. Through joint fundraising efforts, we were able to deliver not only essential resources but also life-changing experiences for the young people we met.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we funded much needed items for the school, including:
- Books to inspire learning
- A projector to enhance classroom engagement
- Educational and Empowering posters
- Menstrual health products to support young girls and the teachers (Eco Friendly and locally sourced in Ghana)
- Arts and crafts supplies to nurture creativity
- 3 laptops to advance online learning and knowledge.
But it wasn’t just about the materials. Together, we delivered three empowering workshops focusing on:
- Self-Development – equipping students with confidence and life skills
- Journalling – promoting self expression and mental wellbeing
- Menstrual Health – breaking taboos and empowering young girls with knowledge and dignity
These sessions sparked inspiration, encouraged open conversation, and planted seeds of change that will grow long beyond our visit.
